We are excited to welcome Yestin van Haaren to the growing Arceon team, as a mechanical engineering intern.

Yestin is currently a first year MSc student at the Aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft, where he is following a track focused on aerospace structures and materials. He has always been interested in space flight and engineering and he has recently been fascinated by “the structural side in particular, as this is a very important and tangible backbone of every system. I have also taken a real interest in carbon fiber composite materials and all the possibilities they provide” he said.

According to Yestin, he is very excited to be joining ARCEON for multiple reasons: “I am first of all enthusiastic about my assignment, which is working on the design and manufacturing of a carbon fibre composite rocket nozzle, as it aligns very well with my interests and studies. I also admire the company culture at ARCEON, where they work with a small team on very advanced technologies and where they have big dreams for the future of the material it develops. Lastly this internship will give me the opportunity to work on a real-world prototype and make actual impact, which is an overly exciting prospect”.

We are happy to have you onboard Yestin and we wish you all the best for your new role!
