Easily installed compared to brittle silica tiles, thanks to quasi-ductile properties
Hypersonic Leading Edge
Lightweight carbeon material reduces weight which enables higher endurance
Resistant to extreme hypersonic flow conditions
Integration and assembly are enabled by high-temperature adhesives or mechanical fasteners
